Fischer was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. [4][55 Anne Miller is her mother. She, is a history teacher. James E. Fischer, her father is engineer. There is a younger sister, Emily, a third grade teacher. [7] She first performed when she was six at an acting class taught by her mother at Henry School in St. Louis and was hosted by actor Sean Gunn, with whom she was raised. 8 She then went to Pierremont Elementary School in Manchester Missouri and Nerinx Hall high school in Webster Groves Missouri. Her degree is a Bachelor's in Theater and a minor in Journalism from Truman State University.
