Westmore is best known for her role for her character Sheridan Crane Lopez Fitzgerald in Passions. This soap opera aired between 1999 and 2008. Sheridan's supercouple with Luis Lopez Fitzgerald (portrayed by Galen Gering) is very well-loved by Passions fans. Both are commonly referred to as "Shuis" which is a mix of both names. Westmore appeared as a special character in the third season of Dexter that aired from 2008 through 2009.
