Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for over 20 years. She is the co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is an independent liberal news outlet has a TV personality author, author and philanthropist. Originating from Greece Arianna Huffington immigrated to England with her family when she was 16 years old. While at Cambridge University she earned a MA Degree in Economics. The well-known debating club The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it at the age of 21. Her popularity as a conservative journalist was further consolidated when she completed her studies. With the introduction of The Huffington Post a few months later, she launched an online voice-portal that provided critiques of the politics. Her fame helped in attracting several famous contributors. Arianna's fame began in 2003, when she became an independent candidate for the California recall vote in order to replace the then governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna led an initiative in Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient cars. Her name was voted as the most Influential Women in Media by Forbes in 2009 and was awarded 12th position on the list. That same year Guardian included her in the top 100 media list. AOL bought The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. Then she was appointed the President of AOL's media group. The group included several AOL owned properties like Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli is the daughter of Konstantinos Stasinopoulos as well as Elli the other, both of whom are management consultants and journalists. While she was close to her father, her connection to her mom was the defining factor in the course of her entire life. In her earliest period, she displayed leadership skills for which she is still well-known. at the age of 16 she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. She was a member of the Cambridge Union college debate society while in college and was the third female to serve as president. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a columnist critic and a television host. In addition, she appeared alongside Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started creating books with his editing assistance.
